Film
Noir is not so much a genre, but more of a mood.Although
plots differ, most
deal with various amounts of corruption, murder,
and twists that give the story a sense of foreboding
evil. Also, these films share a similar visual
style.Dark alleys, rain soaked streets, and
bizare high contrast lighting are just a few
signature elements of these pictures.
